Chungnam National University (CNU) is one of the nine major national universities located throughout the country, one for each of the nine provinces of South Korea. CNU consists of 17 colleges and 14 graduate schools with more than 15.000 students and around 1.000 professors. CNU sits within the Daedeok Science Park housing more than 200 public and private research institutes, among which ETRI (Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute) and KAIST (Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology) are CNU’s immediate neighbors. Five out of nineteen departments of the College of Engineering of CNU belong to the ICT area; Computer Engineering, Information and Communications Engineering (InfoCom), Electronics Engineering, Radiowave Engineering, and Power Engineering. Within the TEAM project, our primary interest would be in Networking, Image Processing and Security.
